Planning, engineering, and surveying services were provided for the design and construction of 224 single-family and 149 multi-family residences.
The development also has a beautiful one-acre public park located in the center of the community. The site includes a 20’ soil-nail wall at the project’s main entry. It was designed with a shotcrete natural rock façade to blend in with the existing hillside.
Project Challenge and Solution
This is a hillside development so grading was designed to allow for premium views from all lots while still balancing earthwork. The site included a 1,000,000 water tank, a water pressure reducing station, a sewer lift station, and an arch culvert crossing.
Hillside grading required temporary rockfall barriers to be employed during the grading operation. Our team collaborated with the soils engineer and grader to provide a design that was efficient and cost-effective for the client.
