H&A prepared the design review package, rough grading, precise grading, and improvement plans for this senior-living neighborhood. The project includes 23 buildings and 119 residential units, coupled with a recreation area that consists of a pool, spa, BBQ area, and recreational facilities to the development’s amenities. Land surveying services were also provided.
Project Challenge and Solution
The contemporary architecture included front-door entrances and garages on two and three sides of each building and easy access designed to every front door.
To meet these standards, a high level of engineering was performed to ensure that the elevation across the site was safe and accessible throughout the property.
Also, the project is situated15-ft. above Templeton Street. A detailed tiered-wall system was designed that incorporates the landscape elements of the Del Sur master-planned community, including the neighborhood of Avante.
