Located in the City of Oceanside, this mixed-use project consists of:
- 14 structures
- Four-story senior housing complex
- Retail building
- Community resource center
- Leasing office
- Ten residential buildings consisting of 288 affordable housing units
- Carports with solar panel technology within the parking areas
- Walkable paseos between the buildings including a community plaza near the retail units
- Designated garden area with planter beds
- Two recreational park areas for children
Project Challenge and Solution
This project is within the historic floodplain and required more than two basins to meet water quality measures. We raised the entire site by 3 ft. to eliminate the need for costly flood insurance.
