Hunsaker & Associates is currently under contract for the fiscal years 2016-2021 with the Otay Water District for on-call surveying and mapping services. We are providing the following services:
- Preparation of district water easements based on survey data provided by our field crews as well as district surveyors
- Advice and expertise to district management on proper means to acquire the necessary information to provide concise land descriptions
- Performed boundary surveys and filed Record of Surveys
- Tied-out existing survey monuments at street intersections to facilitate and prepare for the installation of pipeline retrofits
- Re-set destroyed monuments and filed corner records with the County
- Short response time to requests for staking, pothole, mark-out, and other services
- Implemented and maintained GIS-based mapping, integrating parcel data, imaging, topography and survey data
All necessary documentation such as cut-sheets and field notes were digitally scanned and stored in our database, as well provided to the District.
